Empowering Mental Health Solutions
Our Approach
At Proyecto Apapacho, we are dedicated to enhancing the mental well-being of Latino migrants in State College, US. Our clinic provides a safe and welcoming space where all experiences are celebrated and valued. Through access to community resources and interviews with fellow migrants, we aim to create a sense of belonging and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Our project documents anonymous narratives of Spanish-speaking migrants, fostering understanding and support within the community. In collaboration with mental health professionals, educators, and advocates, we strive to be a valuable resource for those working with immigrant populations.
